Horovitz, Marcus

(1844-1910)
   German Orthodox rabbi, historian and halakhist. He was born in Hungary. He served as an Orthodox rabbi to the Frankfurt am Main general community after Reform had eliminated all Orthodox institutions. His publications include Frankfurter Rabbinen, a study of the rabbis who served the Frankfurt community.
